So you'll be able to send and receive SMS and MMS text messages using your existing landline phone number with the Salesmsg platform.
Here's a breakdown of the process.
Step 1: Determine If Your Phone Number is Eligible
First, we'll look up your number to confirm it's a landline and then start the landline text enabling process.
Contact our support team now to determine if your number is eligible.
Step 2: Verify Your Landline Phone Number
During the verify process, an automated verification call is sent to your number where you'll be prompted to enter a six digit pin that will be provided by a Salesmsg team member. Connect with us through our chat feature to complete your verification step or send us an email at [email protected].
Step 3: Authorize Salesmsg To Host SMS (Online Signature)
Once the landline number has gone through the verification process, a letter of authorization is emailed to you. This form authorizes Salesmsg to host sms on your landline number. You can sign this online.
Step 4: Testing and It's Live
Testing is the final step to text enabling your landline number. The testing process doesn't interfere with the lines voice capabilities. Once complete, we add the text- enabled number to your Salesmsg dashboard. You can start texting right away.
The testing process can take up to 24-48 hours to complete.
