What is Reviews?

Reviews helps you collect more customer reviews using SMS. You create a branded review page, share it with your contacts through Salesmsg, and let sentiment routing do the rest: happy customers are sent to leave a public review on the sites that matter to you, while unhappy customers are invited to share private feedback so you can make things right before it becomes a public review.

Why Use Reviews?

  • Get more public reviews: Reach customers where they already are—their text messages—for higher response rates than email.

  • Protect your reputation: Route unhappy customers to a private feedback form instead of a public review site.

  • Stay on brand: Customize your review page with your logo, colors, and messaging.

  • Track everything: See clicks, ratings, and feedback in one place—including clicks from links shared outside of Salesmsg.

Accessing Reviews

Navigate to Reviews from your sidebar menu, or open it from the Discover page tiles (marked with a "New" badge).

Creating Your Review Page

  1. Click + New Review Page.

  2. Name your page for easy identification.

  3. Add a Title and Description that your customers will see.

  4. Upload an Image (such as your logo) and choose a Background Color to match your brand.

  5. Add your Review Links—the public review sites (like Google or Facebook) where you want happy customers to leave reviews.

  6. Set the Landing Page URL where customers are directed after they complete the flow.

  7. Save your page to start sharing it.

How Sentiment Routing Works

When a customer opens your review page, they see your branding and a 5-star rating prompt. Based on the rating they select, they are routed automatically:

  • 4–5 stars: The customer is shown your Review Links and redirected to the public review site of their choice.

  • 1–3 stars: The customer is shown a private Feedback Form so they can tell you what went wrong—without it becoming a public review.

This keeps your public ratings strong while giving you a direct line to customers who had a less-than-great experience.

Sharing Your Review Page

You can share your review page in two ways:

  • Through Salesmsg: Add the review link from the message box anywhere you send messages—Conversations, Broadcasts, and AI Agents. Because the contact is known, every click and rating is tied to that customer.

  • Outside of Salesmsg: Share the link anywhere—email, social media, your website, or print. Clicks from these channels are tracked anonymously.

Tracking Performance

Each review page includes analytics so you can see how it is performing:

  • Clicks: How many people opened your review page.

  • Ratings: The star ratings customers submitted.

  • Feedback: Private feedback left by customers who rated 1–3 stars.

  • Platform Breakdown: Which review sites your happy customers chose.

  • Anonymous Clicks: Engagement from links shared outside of Salesmsg.

Tips for Success

Ask at the right moment—send your review request right after a positive interaction or completed service.

Keep your message personal so customers know the request is genuine.

List the review sites that matter most to your business in your Review Links.

Check feedback regularly and follow up with unhappy customers quickly.

Test your page before sharing it widely.

Common Use Cases

  • Service Businesses: Request a review after a job is completed.

  • Retail: Follow up after a purchase to build social proof.

  • Real Estate: Ask for a review after closing a deal.
