With Salesmsg's HubSpot integration, we give you the ability to send the text message based on the Contact Owner in HubSpot. This makes it easy to create simple, scalable, and dynamic campaigns based on the property within HubSpot.

Why Would I Use This?

If you are rotating leads or assigning Contact Owners to your contacts and leads within HubSpot and you want the text messages to come from the appropriate owner, then you'd use this method.

How it Works

Rather than choosing to send the text from a specific number, Salesmsg will send it dynamically based on who owns the Contact. For example: If Mike is the HubSpot Contact Owner, then Salesmsg will send the text coming from Mike's Salesmsg number. 

You'll have to configure some mapping first. After mapping your Contact Owners, create your workflows to have your messages sent out by the appropriate contact owner. 

Step 1: Map Your HubSpot Users To Salesmsg Users

As the admin of your organization's account and after you've integrated with HubSpot, you'll need to map your Hubspot users to your Salesmsg users to set up the Hubspot contact owner texts. 

  1. Go to your Salesmsg HubSpot settings to map your users. Your Hubspot users will appear on the left and you'll like their Salesmsg accounts on the right. 

Step 2: Create Your Text From Your Workflow

  1. While you're configuring your workflow, select the Integration Action "Salesmsg SMS as Hubspot Contact Owner
  2. Select your Phone Number Property and create your text message!


Because this is a new integration from HubSpot, they are not giving apps like Salesmsg the ability to extend into other Workflow types aside from Contact-based at this time. 

  • ✅= Contact Based 
  • 🚫= Company Based
  • 🚫= Deal Based
  • 🚫= Ticket Based 

You can still send text messages from these Workflow types using Webhooks and Salesmsg Triggers.
