You can easily import your HubSpot contact lists into Salesmsg and keep them automatically synced. This allows you to quickly send broadcasts or messages to the same contacts you manage in HubSpot.

What This Feature Does

When you connect a HubSpot list to Salesmsg:

Contacts from that list are imported into Salesmsg.
Changes made to the list in HubSpot will automatically sync to Salesmsg within minutes.
You can send Broadcast messages directly to those contacts from Salesmsg.

How to Import HubSpot Lists

Step 1: Open the App Marketplace

Click your Profile icon in the bottom-left corner of Salesmsg
Select Settings
Click App Marketplace

From there, locate the HubSpot integration.

Step 2: Open the HubSpot Integration Settings

Find HubSpot in the App Marketplace
Click the gear (⚙️) icon next to the integration
Select Settings

Step 3: Add a HubSpot List to Sync

In the HubSpot settings page, locate Contact Syncing
Scroll down to the HubSpot Lists section
Click + Add List
Search for and select the HubSpot contact list you want to import from the dropdown menu

Lists are added one at a time. The dropdown closes as soon as you select a list, so to sync additional lists, click + Add List again and repeat the steps above for each one. There is no multi-select or "select all" option.

Once added, those contacts will automatically import into Salesmsg.

Step 4: Send Broadcasts to Your HubSpot List

You can send dedicated Salesmsg Broadcasts to contacts in your HubSpot Contact lists.

To do this:

Go to Broadcasts in Salesmsg
Create a new Broadcast
In Contacts choose +New Filter
Select All HubSpot Lists to select your recipient group

Tip: You do not need to add a list under Contact Syncing first in order to use it in a Broadcast. All of your HubSpot lists are available when building a Broadcast, and the selected list is synced automatically before the Broadcast goes out.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I select multiple HubSpot lists at once?

No. Lists are added individually — click + Add List, choose a list, then repeat for each additional list you want to sync. There is currently no way to multi-select lists or add them all in a single action.

Are HubSpot Lists synced in real time?

Changes made to your HubSpot lists typically sync with Salesmsg within a few minutes, so your contact data stays up to date.

Is there a limit to the number of lists I can import?

No. You can import and sync as many HubSpot contact lists as you need, though each one has to be added separately.

Do I need to sync a list before I can message it?

No. If you only want to send a Broadcast to a HubSpot list, you can select it directly when creating the Broadcast — no prior setup under Contact Syncing is required.

Can I sync HubSpot Company lists?

No. Salesmsg currently supports syncing contact-based lists only. Company object lists are not supported.

Not seeing the App Marketplace in your Settings?

If you go to Profile → Settings and don’t see the App Marketplace, it’s likely due to your user role permissions.

Only Account Owners and Admins can access integrations. Please ask the Owner, or an Admin to import the list for you, or update your role to grant access.
