HubSpot static and active lists are a great way to make custom lists of your contacts based on specific criteria. Best of all, you can make lists based on Salesmsg properties like Message Sent, Message Received, Call Received, and much more!

Active Lists

Now an active list

Next Steps

  1. Open the Contacts Menu

  2. Select Lists

  3. Select Contact-based & Active List

  4. Select next

Filter type

These are the properties you can use as the parameters to build your custom list. In this example, I'm going to look for all my contacts who have sent me a message in the last 24 hours.

The difference between Active & Static lists

Active lists are always checking your HubSpot data to determine if the list needs to be updated and if it does HubSpot will automatically do so. While a Static list will give you results that are accurate at the moment you make the list, a Static list will not update when information in your HubSpot integration updates.
