Built on our AI Agent framework, this tool integrates directly with Calendly to manage the full booking workflow for you, saving time and reducing manual work.

As soon as webhook for booking a meeting is received System generates fake inbound message detailing what time and what data was inputed during the booking. That way you’ll see exactly when a meeting was scheduled—right in the contact's conversation thread.


How to Set Up Your Booking AI Agent

Step 1: Start the AI Booking Agent and Name Your Agent

Start by giving your Booking Agent a clear, descriptive name. This helps you stay organized, especially if you're creating multiple agents for different use cases, regions, or team members.

Step 2: Connect to Calendly

Next, you’ll connect your Calendly account to Salesmsg. This step is required for the Booking Agent to function. After authenticating Calendly, you’ll select a specific Calendly event This event is what the Agent will use when offering scheduling options to contacts.

Step 3: Customize the Agent’s Behavior

Now it’s time to fine-tune the Agent’s messaging and logic. You can choose between using a fixed, static welcome message or letting AI dynamically generate a more natural opening message. You also have the option to add enrollment criteria so the Agent only engages contacts that meet specific conditions.

Step 4: Review and Launch

Once everything is configured, you’ll review your settings and run a test. Salesmsg allows you to simulate an interaction with the Agent so you can preview the conversation flow and ensure the logic works as expected. After confirming the Agent’s behavior, you can publish it.


Free Calendly Plan Warning: No Booking Confirmations

If you’re using Calendly’s Free plan, you won’t receive confirmation webhooks after booking — which can lead to confusion or missed meetings.

When You'll See This Warning

During the booking process if you choose Calendly as your scheduling tool and your account is on the Free plan, Salesmsg will show you this message to make sure that you are aware of the free plan limitations and have the option to upgrade through Calendly.


Chat to Book Feature

AI Agents can now chat with contacts, collect important information, prefill Calendly event forms, and send scheduling links with the contact’s details already entered. This streamlines the booking process and helps agents gather more valuable data during the conversation.

This enhancement allows AI agents to get much more out of a conversation than just securing a meeting time. By collecting additional information upfront, agents can:

  • Speed up the booking process for contacts by sending pre-filled Calendly links.

  • Capture extra details that can be stored in Salesmsg contact fields.

  • Provide a more personalized and seamless experience for the contact.

    • The agent also keeps track of all coorespondance between the Agent in chats to have accurate and retrievable information.


Frequently Asked Questions

Does the Booking Agent work with any calendar tool?

No. The Booking Agent currently supports Calendly only.

What happens after a meeting is booked?

Salesmsg receives a webhook from Calendly, then logs a system message inside the conversation with the meeting time and form data.

Can I map the booking data to fields in my CRM?

Coming soon! You’ll soon be able to map Calendly form responses directly into Salesmsg contact fields and sync them with your CRM.

Do I need to be the same user in Calendly and Salesmsg?

Yes. To track meetings properly, each Salesmsg user must be linked to their own Calendly user account.

Can I use this for reminders or follow-ups?

Absolutely. You can set the Agent to re-engage stale leads with follow-up messaging to encourage them to book a meeting.

Will the Agent work without a Calendly connection?

No. Without selecting a Calendly event, the Agent cannot complete the booking process.
