Frequently Asked Questions
What is the ETA on 10DLC Registration?
Most reviews are completed within 8-10 business days, but the review time can vary.
Do I have to wait for 8-10 days before using Salesmsg again?
Yes, but only for your local numbers. As of September 1, 2023 the mobile carriers began blocking all unregistered message traffic from local numbers, so full 10DLC approval is required before your local numbers can successfully send messages on your Salesmsg account. But your 10DLC registration status does not affect the use of any verified toll-free numbers on your account.
Can Salesmsg speed up the process?
Review and approval are not something Salesmsg controls. We can provide you with the latest status and assist if anything goes wrong in the process, but we cannot expedite the review time.
Can I use a Toll-Free number instead of 10DLC?
So long as you have a local number present in your account, you need to register it to be fully compliant. Using a Toll-Free number doesn't exempt you from the registration process for 10DLC.
