Salesmsg now supports regulatory registration for messaging in the United Kingdom. Making it easier than ever to stay compliant while reaching your UK audience.
Getting Started
To begin, go to Settings → Compliance and locate the International section. Click on United Kingdom to start filing your compliance bundle or check your current status.
Filing process is similar to filing business profile and requires no addotional information. For reference on business profile steps see here.
Once registered and approved, you can ourchase UK mobile number and start using Salesmsg to send SMS and MMS messages to UK contacts, all while staying compliant with regional carrier regulations.
Signing Up with a UK Phone Number
Salesmsg now supports UK phone numbers during sign up, making it easier for UK users and teams to get started without needing a US or Canadian number.

When creating your Salesmsg account, you can now enter a UK mobile number as your primary number.
Here’s what to expect:
The phone field will show the UK flag and use the correct UK number format
Your number will be validated to ensure it’s entered correctly
Your two factor authentication code will be sent to your UK mobile
Joining an Existing Team
If you are invited to join a Salesmsg organization, you can enter your UK phone number on the invitation page.
Salesmsg will automatically format and validate your UK number so you can join without extra steps.
This also applies if you are invited to become the owner of a new organization.
Purchasing UK Numbers
Once your compliance is registered and approved, you’ll be able to purchase UK mobile numbers directly from Salesmsg. From the Numbers page:
Click Add Number
Select United Kingdom as your country
Search by digits to find a number you like
Assign the number to an existing inbox or create a new one

With your UK number, you can:
Send SMS and MMS messages to UK contacts
Keep all messages compliant with local carrier regulations
Optionally create a smart international inbox that automatically uses the right number (US, Canada, or UK) based on your contact’s location
Two Factor Authentication (2FA) with UK Numbers
You can now use your UK number to secure your account with two factor authentication.
Your 2FA code will be sent directly to your UK mobile
UK numbers are fully supported during sign in and when updating your 2FA settings
This ensures your account stays protected no matter where you’re based.
