If you're using Zoho CRM to manage your customer relationships, you can now supercharge your communication with Salesmsg - without breaking your existing workflows.

This integration is built for business owners, sales teams, and fast-growing organizations that want to keep everything in sync and talk to customers faster - all without switching tabs.


πŸš€ How to Connect Zoho CRM to Salesmsg

Go to Settings β€” From the left-hand menu, click on Settings.

  1. Open the App Marketplace

    • In the Settings sidebar, select App Marketplace.

  2. Find Zoho CRM

    • Scroll down or use the search bar to find Zoho CRM.

  3. Select Zoho CRM

    • Click on the Zoho CRM integration card.

  4. Connect Zoho CRM

    • In the integration window, click the Connect button.

  5. Sign in to Zoho

    • A new window will appear prompting you to log in with your Zoho CRM credentials.

  6. Grant Permissions

    • Review the requested permissions and click Allow/Accept.

  7. Integration Confirmed

    • Once connected, you'll see a confirmation in Salesmsg, and Zoho CRM will be listed under My Integrations.


Improved Integration Authentication from Zoho to Salesmsg

We've upgraded how Salesmsg connects to Zoho CRM. Authentication is now handled through Nango, replacing the previous Ampersand-based connection. This means a more reliable, secure, and hassle-free integration for you.

  • If you're connecting Zoho for the first time, nothing has changed on your end β€” just follow the steps above and you're good to go.

  • If you were previously connected via Ampersand, you'll need to reconnect your Zoho account once to migrate to the new authentication method. Your existing linked contacts will not be affected.


Zoho Integration Section

When your Zoho CRM integration is connected, new sections appear in the Integration UI:

  • Settings Tab β€” Automatically visible once Zoho is connected.

  • Sync Section β€” Includes a dropdown to view sync type (1-way or 2-way). Note: sync only applies to contacts that have been manually linked between Salesmsg and Zoho β€” there is no automatic bulk sync.

  • Field Mapping Section β€” Displays default mapped fields: First Name, Last Name, Phone, and Email.

Sync does not happen automatically in bulk when you first connect. Contacts are only synced once they have been manually linked between Salesmsg and Zoho CRM.

Once a contact is linked, changes to their core fields will stay in sync across both platforms.
