Salesmsg allows you to easily import and link your Infusionsoft/Keap contacts to Salesmsg from the Campaign Builder and HTTP Post.

First, if you have not yet integrated your Infusionsoft/Keap account, you can learn how to do that in this article: Integrating Infusionsoft/Keap with Salesmsg.

How To Get Your Add Contact Webhook

After you've integrated your Infusionsoft/Keap account, you'll be able to copy a webhook URL, which is used to add contacts to Salesmsg.

Step 1: Click View Webhook

Navigate to Salesmsg> Settings> Integrations, click on the โ‹ฎ next to Infusionsoft/Keap integration, to reveal the View Webhook option.

Step 2: Select the Phone Field and Click Copy

The Phone Field is where your contacts phone number exists on your Infusionsoft/Keap account. This is the phone number that will be added to Salesmsg.

After you've selected the phone field, click the Copy button and the Webhook URL will be copied to your clipboard.

Example Webhook URL

https://app.salesmessage.com/webhook/infusionsoft/fff72ccc32429?to=Phone1

Add Your Salesmsg Webhook to Your Campaign

Now that you've copied your Webhook URL, let's hop over to the Campaign Builder to add this Webhook URL to your campaign.

Step 1: Navigate to the Campaign Builder

From your Automation campaign, drag over the Webhook widget to where you want to add your ActiveCampaign contacts to Salesmsg.

Usually this is the first action in your Automation since this action is to only add contacts to your Salesmsg account.

Step 2: Create a New Campaign & Add a Sequence

Add a sequence...

Step 3: Add the "Send HTTP Post" To The Sequence

Drag over the action Send HTTP Post into your Campaign sequence.

Step 4: Paste Your Webhook URL

In the POST URL field, paste in your copied Salesmsg Webhook URL...

Step 5: Publish Your Campaign

How to Add Contacts To Your Campaign

Now that you've created your Campaign, the next step is to add contacts to your Campaign.

Step 1: Search & Filter Your Contacts

To do this, head over to your Contacts page and filter down the contacts you want to add to this Campaign.

Select all or the contacts individually, select Actions, then choose to Start/Stop a Campaign Sequence.

Step 2: Select the Campaign To Add Contacts

Now select the Campaign and the Sequence you want to add these contacts to.

That's it! Infusionsoft will add these contacts to your Campaign which will fire the Salesmsg Webhook to Add the contacts that have a phone number in the Phone Field you selected.

Frequently Asked Questions & Troubleshooting

How can I tell if a specific contact successfully was added?

The fastest way would be to search for the contact on your Salesmsg Conversations page and see if the contact has been linked to your Infusionsoft/Keap contact.

I enrolled many contacts and the Infusionsoft report says all the imports were successful but my contacts did not import?

Verify that the phone number field you selected when you copied the webhook is the same phone number field that your contacts have their phone number in.

How can I tell if my messages are going through?

The best way to troubleshoot whether a message has been sent to a Keap contact, is to go to the contact, then click on Campaigns, and scroll down to see the Salesmsg webhook and the response.
