The notifications panel gives you one place in Salesmsg to see important alerts about your account, so you never miss an issue that needs your attention.

When an integration loses its connection, a notification card tells you right away. If you manage integrations, you can reconnect in one click.

Open the Notifications Panel

  1. Click the Notifications icon in the left-side menu.

  2. Review your notifications in the panel that opens.

  3. Close the panel by clicking the Notifications icon again, or by clicking anywhere outside the panel.

A badge on the Notifications icon shows how many unread notifications you have. The badge updates on its own when a new notification arrives, so you don't need to refresh the page.

If you have no notifications, the panel shows an empty state.

Understand Your Notification Cards

Each notification appears as a card with:

  • Sender icon: the integration the alert is about, such as Salesforce or ActiveCampaign

  • Message: what happened and what to do next

  • Time: when the notification was created

  • Unread indicator: a marker that shows you haven't read the card yet

Notifications are grouped by day, with today at the top. Within each day, the newest notifications appear first. Scroll down to load older notifications.

Reconnect an Integration from a Notification

If an integration disconnects, you'll get a card that says:

Integration alert! We lost connection with your {integration} integration. Please reconnect here.

To reconnect:

  1. Click Reconnect on the notification card.

  2. Follow the prompts on the integrations page to reconnect your account.

Clicking Reconnect also marks the notification as read.

See Why Your View Differs from a Teammate's

What you see on a notification card depends on whether you have permission to manage integrations.

  • If you can manage integrations, your card includes the Reconnect button so you can fix the connection yourself.

  • If you can't manage integrations, your card says Integration alert! We lost connection with your {integration} integration. Notify your admin to reconnect. It has no Reconnect button.

If your card doesn't have a Reconnect button, reach out to your account Owner or Admin so they can restore the connection.

Mark Notifications as Read

Mark one notification as read

  1. Hover over an unread notification.

  2. Click Mark as read.

The unread badge goes down by one. Clicking elsewhere on the card does not change its read status.

Mark all notifications as read

  1. Open the notifications panel.

  2. Click Mark all as read.

The Mark all as read button only appears when you have at least one unread notification.
