Your Personal Account Settings are where you manage everything specific to you as a user. Update your profile, customize your notifications, set up your voicemail drop, and keep your account secure, all in one place.
Changes here only affect your account and won't impact other team members.
Navigating to Personal Account Settings
Getting there is quick and easy!
Click your avatar (profile picture or initials) in the bottom-left corner of the app
Select Settings from the menu
Choose Personal Account from the left-hand navigation
View & Update Your Profile
Keep your display name and timezone up to date so teammates know who they're working with and your message timestamps are always accurate.
To update your profile:
Go to Settings β Personal Account
Select the Profile tab
Update your display name and/or timezone
Click Save

Here's what's available in your Personal Account Settings:

Notifications
Get alerted when new conversations come in, contacts are assigned, or teammates mention you. Customize what you're notified about so you stay in the loop without the noise.
To manage your notification preferences:
Go to Settings β Personal Account
Select the Notifications tab
Toggle on or off the notification types that work best for you
Your changes save automatically
Voicemail Drop
Record a voicemail message once and Salesmsg will drop it automatically whenever you reach someone's voicemail. No more repeating yourself on every call.
To set up your Voicemail Drop:
Go to Settings β Personal Account
Select the Voicemail Drop tab
Record or upload your voicemail message
Click Save
Log Out All Devices
If you've logged in on a shared or old device, this signs you out everywhere at once so your account stays secure.
To log out of all devices:
Go to Settings β Personal Account
Select the Security tab
Click Log Out All Devices
Confirm when prompted
Heads up! This will end your active session on all devices, including the one you're currently using. You'll need to log back in.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I change my email address or phone number?
Yes! Visit Settings β Personal Account and look for the option to update your contact info under the Profile tab. You'll be asked to verify any changes for security purposes.
Can I change my password?
Absolutely. Head to Settings β Personal Account β Security tab to update your password at any time.
Will my profile changes affect my whole team's account?
Nope! Personal Account Settings only apply to your individual user account and won't impact other team members.
