Set up your business hours to set up an automated response to let your clients know you're away.

Business hours are a means to set yourself as "away" so if your contacts or prospects are trying to reach you they know you're not there and you can provide alternative instructions for them.

Set your days of the week, desired times, and an away message to ensure contacts know what to do when you're away!


Business hours

When a contact sends a text to your SMS number outside of your business hours, they'll receive your away message. They will know their message was delivered and expect a response soon.

Configuring the days and hours

  1. Go to your Settings > Inboxes > Desired Inbox >Settings Tab

  2. Toggle your Status On

  3. Select your Timezone

  4. Customize your Business Days and Hours to your availability.

  5. Then insert your personalized auto-reply and hit save!

Sending media

It is also possible to attach images, videos, gifs, documents or audio files to your auto-reply messages. Click a πŸ“Ž button and you'll see a media library where you can choose, upload or even register your media files.

Does the auto-response message cost message credits?

Yes, the auto-response message is subject to the same rates as any other SMS.

Can I set up business hours for a any Inbox?

Yes, you can! Head to your profile menu -> settings -> inboxes -> desired inbox -> settings tab

​What timezone are my messages sent and received in?
Your timezone is dictated by the timezone you selected in your Personal settings. If you've never configured this, the default is the timezone that your web browser is set to.
