When you miss a call and cannot respond immediately, the follow-up text feature on Salesmsg 2.0 allows you to automatically send a message whenever you miss a call.

With this feature, you can schedule a follow-up call or simply keep the contact engaged, ensuring they know they will be called back


Follow up Texts

Using both SMS and MMS, Whenever you miss a call the follow-up text feature on Salesmsg 2.0 is designed to automatically send a pre-set message to a contact whenever you miss their call.

This feature ensures that the contact knows you are aware of their call and will get back to them as soon as possible and helps you handle a large volume of calls quicker and easier.

Once inbound call is stopped with call resolution โ€œno answerโ€ Salesmsg backend detects it and fires internal event.

Configuring the follow up text

  1. Go to your Settings > Inboxes > Desired Inbox >Settings Tab

  2. Go to the calling tab of your inbox and scroll all the way down

  3. Toggle the missed call follow up text option on

  4. Then insert your personalized auto-reply and hit save!

Using this feature

When you miss a call the feature will automatically kick in, sending the automated message to your contact after a 5 second delay.

This feature allows for you to quickly handle a large volume of calls and insure your contact that you will be able to call them back and keep them engaged. as well you can add a call queue to call them back as soon as you are available to take the call.

Yes, you can toggle the missed call follow-up text option off in the settings.
