The Mobile App Calling feature is a crucial aspect of your Salesmsg calling needs. With the Salesmsg mobile app, you can easily make and manage calls on the go. Whether you’re reaching out to leads, clients, or team members, the mobile app offers a smooth, integrated experience for all your calling needs. To start with calling chose the Calls icon in your Salesmsg Menu


Placing Calls

To start with placing your call move to the top icon with with the phone icon and select it. Next select the Inbox that you want to call from and it will direct you to the main calling interface.

From the main calling interface you can select and customize all the ways that you place calls to your users or new contacts.

  • You can alter the inbox you send from and whether to call it from a local presence or any phone number you want to call from.

  • Option to select from your Salesmsg Contacts, HubSpot Contacts, and ActiveCampaign Contacts

  • If you want to dial a number manually then you can input the number and place the call.


Call Notifications in Conversations and Inbox

When you are looking through your conversations and you places calls or missed calls, it will show the inbox the call came from with a notification, if you Missed a call, and if the contact called you.


Call History

Call History alls you to access your recent calls, view details, and take follow-up actions, such as sending messages or viewing contact information. It will show all of your calls from all of your inboxes, but you can select individual inboxes if you want to view calls only from that certain inbox.

As well you can filter to Answered calls, Missed calls, Voicemails both Inbound and Outbound. as well as Opened called, Unread Messages, Need Responses and more.


Call Outcomes and Filters

After completing a call in the Salesmsg mobile app, you have the option to label the call with an outcome. This feature helps you stay organized by tracking the results of each call, allowing you to easily filter through your call history and take appropriate follow-up actions. The available call outcomes include:

  • Completed: When the call was successfully connected and the conversation was completed.

  • Voicemail: When the call reached the recipient’s voicemail, allowing you to leave a message.

  • Missed: When the call was not answered by the recipient, providing a clear indicator for follow-up.

  • No Answer: Similar to "Missed," this outcome is used when the recipient doesn’t answer the call, but without the implication that the call rang all the way to voicemail.

  • Busy: When the recipient’s line is busy and the call cannot be connected.
