Group Messaging is a great way to engage multiple contacts within a single conversation. Maybe you are a realtor and need to keep multiple family members informed during a purchase. Or perhaps you are a teacher and need to keep both parents of your student engaged throughout the school year.

For all these scenarios and more, Group Messaging will be your friend.

How It Works

There are two ways to start a group message:

  • By adding multiple recipients when creating a new conversation

To add a contact to the conversation you close the inbox and then reopen it by adding the previous contacts as well as new contacts .By adding contacts to an existing conversation you can also remove people for an ongoing group message if needed.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the pricing structure for Group Messaging?

The number of credits charged depends on the number of recipients in a group message. For example, if a group message contains two recipients and a message is sent out from a Salesmsg number, then two credits will be charged for that outgoing text.

If a contact is added to an existing conversation, would they be able to see the history of the conversation?

No, they will only see messages from the point they were added to the conversation onward.
