What Are Reviews? ⭐

Reviews helps you collect more customer reviews without the manual follow-up.

You create a branded review page, share it with your contacts through Salesmsg, and let sentiment routing do the rest.

  • Happy customers get sent to leave a public review on the sites that matter to you.

  • Unhappy customers get a private feedback form instead, so you can make things right before it becomes a public review.

Why use Reviews:

  • Get more public reviews — reach customers where they already are, their text messages, for higher response rates than email

  • Protect your reputation — route unhappy customers to private feedback instead of a public review site

  • Stay on brand — customize your review page with your logo, colors, and messaging

  • Track everything — see clicks, ratings, and feedback in one place, including clicks from links shared outside Salesmsg

Accessing Reviews

Navigate to Reviews from your sidebar menu, or open it from the Discover page tiles (marked with a New badge).

Creating Your Review Page

  1. Click + New Review Page and name your page for easy identification.

Appearance

  1. Add a Title and Description your customers will see.

  2. Upload an Image (like your logo) and choose a Background Color to match your brand.

Stars (4–5)

  1. Add your Review Links, the public review sites (like Google or Facebook) where you want happy customers to leave reviews.

Stars (1–3)

  1. Set the Landing Page URL where customers land after submitting private feedback.

  2. Click Save to start sharing your page.

How Sentiment Routing Works

When a customer opens your review page, they see your branding and a 5-star rating prompt.

Their rating decides where they go next, sending happy customers to your public review sites and unhappy customers to a private feedback form instead.

This keeps your public ratings strong while giving you a direct line to customers who had a less-than-great experience.

Sharing Your Review Page

You can share your review page two ways:

Through Salesmsg
Add the review link from the message box anywhere you send messages, including Conversations, Broadcasts, and AI Agents. Because the contact is known, every click and rating ties back to that customer.

Outside Salesmsg
Share the link anywhere: email, social media, your website, or print. Clicks from these channels are tracked anonymously.

Tracking Performance

Each review page includes analytics so you can see how it's performing:

  • Clicks — how many people opened your review page

  • Ratings — the star ratings customers submitted

  • Feedback — private feedback left by customers who rated 1–3 stars

  • Platform Breakdown — which review sites your happy customers chose

  • Anonymous Clicks — engagement from links shared outside Salesmsg

Exporting a Report

  1. From the Review Analytics page, click Export Report in the header. You'll also find this in the three-dot menu on the Analytics page or the Review Grid.

  2. Choose your file format: CSV or TXT.

  3. Confirm the export.

Once it's ready, you'll get a toast notification with a link to download the file.

Tips for Success

✅ Ask at the right moment. Send your review request right after a positive interaction or completed service.
✅ Keep your message personal so customers know the request is genuine.
✅ List the review sites that matter most to your business in your Review Links.
✅ Check feedback regularly and follow up with unhappy customers quickly.
✅ Test your page before sharing it widely.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I create more than one review page?
Yes. You can create multiple review pages, for example to track different locations, teams, or campaigns separately.

What happens if a customer doesn't select a star rating?
They won't be routed to either the Review Links or the Feedback Form until they submit a rating.

Can I change my Review Links after the page is live?
Yes. You can edit your review page, including Review Links, Title, Description, and branding, at any time. Changes apply immediately to anyone who opens the page after that.

Do I need a Landing Page URL?
It's optional, but recommended. Without one, customers who submit private feedback won't be redirected anywhere after completing the flow.

Are anonymous clicks tied to a contact?

No. Clicks from links shared outside Salesmsg (email, social, print) are tracked anonymously and won't be tied to a specific contact record.

Can I use the same review page for multiple platforms?
Yes. Add all the review sites you want under Review Links, and happy customers will see the full list to choose from.
