What phone numbers can I send from in a HubSpot Workflow?

From your Workflow using the Salesmsg: Send SMS action, you can send a text from...

  • Your personal Salesmsg phone number

  • A members phone number

  • Salesmsg: Last Used Call Phone Number

  • WhatsApp Shone Number

  • A shared inbox phone number

  • The shared Short Code 79000 (used for bulk texting)

Can I send pictures, gifs, and vcards from HubSpot Workflows?

Yes you can! When creating your Salesmsg SMS you'll see a field called Media URL (.gif, .png, .jpg, .vcard) and this is where you'll insert the FULL URL of where that file is located.

For example, if I wanted to send the image below, then I'd insert the full URL of the file (https://media.giphy.com/media/YJ5OlVLZ2QNl6/giphy.gif) in the Media URL field.

Troubleshooting

My phone numbers in the "Send as" field are not showing in Workflows.

This error typically happens when someone has connected the same HubSpot account to your Salesmsg account. Head over to Settings > Integrations and disconnect and reconnect your HubSpot integration.

This usually solves the issue, however, if you are still having problems, please contact our support team.

How can I tell if my text messages are going out?

From the Workflow, click on History to see if the workflow executed correctly.

If this shows as successful, then head over to Salesmsg and search for the contact to see if the contact has been created and any messages have been sent to them.Β 

You can also check the Outbound filter to see any of the messages that were sent from your Workflow.
