With the Analytics feature, all the key insights you need to understand how well your team is using Salesmsg are one click away.

Accessing Analytics

The Analytics dashboards area accessible by clicking on the Analytics icon on the left panel.

Analytics View

The Analytics section includes seven reporting views. Each view focuses on a specific area of activity in your Salesmsg account and supports deeper analysis through filters, tables, and detailed dashboards.

Overall

The Overall view provides a high-level summary of account activity across key performance areas, including Messages, Conversations, and Calling.
All tiles are clickable and lead to detailed dashboards for deeper review and comparison.

Conversations

The Conversations view shows how conversations are handled within the selected date range. You will see:

• Total: Count of new conversations created
• Open: Conversations still open
• Closed: Conversations resolved

Use this dashboard to evaluate workload, response handling, and team follow-through.

Messages

The Messages view breaks down your full message activity and delivery results. Metrics include:

• Total Inbound
• Total Outbound
• Delivery Rate: Percentage of messages delivered successfully
• Error Rate: Percentage of messages that failed to send
• Spam Rate: Percentage of carrier-blocked messages due to violations
• Opt-outs

Filters support side-by-side comparisons across inboxes, tags, or team members.

Calling

The Calling view outlines inbound and outbound call performance. Metrics include:

• Answered
• Unanswered
• Average Duration

Average duration is displayed in Minutes:Seconds (example: 1:03).

Teams use this view to measure call outcomes, improve follow-through, and reduce missed calls.

Performance

The Performance view shows how your team responds to and resolves conversations. Metrics include:

• Average Time to First Response
• Average Time to Response
• Average Time to Close

Metrics display in Hours:Minutes (example: 34:25).
Below the chart, a member-level breakdown shows how each team member is performing for transparency and coaching.

Contacts

The Contacts view highlights changes to your contact list over time. Metrics include:

• Total Contacts
• Active Contacts
• Opted Out

This view helps monitor list growth, engagement, and retention.

Conversions

The Conversions view shows conversion performance for Forms, Broadcasts, and Triggers. You will see both high-level totals and a detailed breakdown of each conversion created and used in your workflows.

Credit Usage

The Credit Usage view tracks credit activity to support budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
You can review a summary as well as a detailed breakdown of credits used for messages and calls from January 1, 2023 onward.

A link to Credit Usage Analytics is also available in the Billing section of Settings.

Filtering

All of the Analytics dashboards come with a set filters to help you drill down and uncover the insights you are after.

Email Notifications

In addition to viewing the Analytics dashboards on the Salesmsg app, you can also set up email notifications to receive your analytics report by email.

To set up email notifications, navigate to Personal Settings and then click on Notifications. You can vary the frequency of the email to daily, weekly or monthly.
