The Media Library in Salesmsg is designed to help you easily manage, store, and share media files with your team. From accessing files across your organization to uploading and organizing content. This is especially useful for any .pdfs, Microsoft Word documents, spreadsheets in .CSV or .xls/.xlsx files. Customer support services or other personal messages can be sent as a video!

For each organization under your control, you have access to 1 GB of storage space!

The Media Library

You can access the Media Library from multiple places within Salesmsg:

  • Conversations: Click the Media Library icon in the message box.

  • Broadcasts: Open the Media Library to quickly attach files to your broadcast messages.

  • Chatbot: Use the Media Library to upload and manage files for chatbot interactions.

  • Saved Replies: Add media to saved replies for fast, reusable content.

  • And More!

Once opened, you'll have access to a centralized hub where all your media is stored and organized.

To access the media library, click on βž• icon from the message box.

By selecting the "Recently sent" option, you can view and select any of the 100 last media that you or your team members have recently sent to your contacts.

Once you click on the 'View all' opposite the Media title, you'll see the media library modal.

Navigating the Media Library

Viewing Options

Easily switch between the tabs All/Images/Videos/etc. to choose the type of file you want to send.

Besides, Media Library provides flexible viewing options like Grid and List. By default, the library opens in Grid View, which shows thumbnail previews of your files. If you need a more detailed overview, you can switch to List View, which displays file-specific information such as file name, type, size, and upload date.

Switching between views is easy - simply use the view toggle button located in the top-right corner of the Media Library.

Note: In the upper left corner, you'll see the storage meter. If you run out of space, you'll need to remove some items.

Searching Files

Finding the right file is simple. The search bar, located at the top of the interface, allows you to type in keywords to quickly locate files by name or type.

Uploading Files

There are several ways to upload files into the Media Library.

To upload new files, simply click on the 'Upload' button OR drag-and-drop desired files into the library modal.

If you want to avoid downloading files locally, the Media Library also supports adding images via a URL. This feature allows you to input a link, and the file will be added directly to your library.

  • Supported files for upload:

    • Images: up to 30 MB (jpg, png, gif)

    • Video: up to 100 MB (mp4, mov)

    • Audio: up to 10 MB (mp3)

    • Files: up to 10 MB (pdf, doc, csv, or xls)

    • vCard: up to 600 KB

URL Upload

Along with being able to drag and drop all of your media files into your conversations, you can also "Add from URL," which now allows you to paste the URL for the video or image you want to send. Supported file types for upload via URLs include JPG, PNG, GIF, and VCF.

Additionally, there's a cool feature for PicSnippets users. You can seamlessly upload files from PicSnippets using dynamic parameters such as 'first_name', 'last_name', 'user_first_name', 'user_last_name', 'phone', and 'user_email', making it easy to personalize and automate your messages with tailored content.

Managing Your Files

Once you uploaded, you can easily rename files, delete those no longer needed, or download files to your local device for offline use. Or add media files directly into conversations or broadcasts by selecting the desired file and inserting it into your message.

For users handling numerous files, bulk actions allow for managing multiple items at once. You can select several files to delete or add to conversations, all in a single action.
