When you need to make multiple calls, whether to cold call new clients or just to connect, the new Salesmsg Power Dialer feature allows you to set up as many calls as you need and have Salesmsg run them all back-to-back with ease!
This feature makes going through a list of calls easy and quick, with no need to redial or search for new contacts. Power Dialer helps you make all of your daily calls quickly and efficiently, with no fuss!
Setting Up Power Dialer
To start Power Dialer go into your Salesmsg contacts or conversations page, and quickly select all of the needed contacts. then by selecting the inbox you want to call from, the Power Dialer feature automatically allows you to begin calling.
You can select as many contacts as you need with a top limit of 100 per session.
Using the Call Feature
The calling feature works the same way as your regular calling modal in the Salesmsg app, along with displaying the rest of the contacts that you need to contact. To start the Power Dialer feature start by selecting the Call "" Contacts feature.
If you need help or have questions about this feature just select the Learn More option above the power dialer.
As soon as you hang up your call the Power Dialer feature will take over and a five second delay will begin until the next call.
Along with the automatic calling, if you need a break, to skip a contact or to stop the power dialer feature that can be quickly achieved with the Pause or Stop Power Dialer buttons.
Using Power Dialer with other Salesmsg feature
When using the Power Dialer if you receive another call, or use the call queue the Power Dialer will automatically pause can be restarted at any point.
Calls made with the Power Dialer will be using the regular Salesmsg credits, and you will be able to use all of the other Salesmsg functionality while the power dialer is active such as texting, sending automated messages, and creating other contacts.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I take calls during Power Dialer?
Yes. If a call comes in during a pause, you can take it regularly. If a call comes in during the 5 second cooldown period, the session will pause, and you can take the call as usual.
Can I make other outbound calls?
Yes, you can pause the session to make any required outbound calls.
Do I have access to all calling features?
Yes, you have access to the same calling modal for both manual outbound calls and Power Dialer outbound calls.
Do I get calling history?
You will receive regular call timelines, but there is no specific history for Power Dialer. The history will reflect the regular calls you placed during the use of the Power Dialer.
Do I get input call resolution or notes?
Not as part of the current implementation. However, you can pause the session to create a Contact and Conversation note.
Can I add contacts to the active session?
No, you need to stop the current session and relaunch it with the required set of contacts.
Does the Power Dialer work with Call Queue?
Yes. You can see both the inbound queue and the outbound queue. If you decide to take an inbound call from the queue, your Power Dialer session will be paused.
