Overview of Ringless Voicemail in Salesmsg

Ringless Voicemail introduces a new way to communicate with your Contacts in Salesmsg. Ringless Voicemail allows you to send voicemail messages directly to Contacts without ringing their phones. This approach provides a non-intrusive way to communicate with clients or leads. Currently Ringless messaging is only availble in broadcasts.

Sending Ringless Broadcasts

Creating a Ringless broadcast is akin to crafting a regular text message broadcast in Salesmsg. To do this, navigate to Broadcasts -> Create Broadcast, and you'll find a "Ringless Voicemail" tab at the top. Clicking on it will allow you to complete the required and optional fields for sending a Ringless Voicemail broadcast.

Here's what you'll encounter:

  • Broadcast Name: Similar to text broadcasts, this will be the name of your broadcast displayed in the statistics.

  • Recording or Choosing an Audio File: Unlike text messages, you can either record a message or select an audio file from the media library.

  • Text-to-Speech: For your ringless broadcast, you can also utilize the text-to-speech feature, which offers a diverse range of voice options.

  • Send From: Choose an inbox from which you want your broadcast to be sent.

  • Contacts: Select a list of Contacts to whom you want to send your Ringless Voicemail.

  • Send Now / Send Later: This option lets you choose to send the broadcast immediately or schedule it for a later date.

  • Advanced Scheduling: Utilize the same advanced scheduling options that are available for text broadcasts.

Once you've input all necessary details, you can send your Ringless Voicemail broadcast to your contacts. To monitor performance metrics, navigate to the 'Ringless' tab within the main 'Broadcasts' dashboard.

Be mindful of certain limitations on the number and timing of your Ringless Broadcasts.

Beta Feature: Custom Voice Capability

Currently in beta, this feature allows you to craft a unique voice for text-to-speech applications. Follow these steps to set it up:

  1. Go to the text-to-speech section under Ringless Broadcasts, Voicemail, or IVR.

  2. Click the voice icon.

  3. Select "Custom" from the options.

  4. Click on "Add custom voice."

  5. Follow the on-screen instructions to record your voice sample.

  6. Once your voice has been generated, select it for text-to-speech use.

Note: During the beta phase, only one custom voice is permitted per organization.

Ringless Limits and Regulations

Take note of the following constraints and regulations:

Business Hours: Messages can only be sent during TCPA hours of 8 am to 9 pm contact's local time.

Frequency Limit: A maximum of 3 ringless messages per Contact every 3 days.

Message Time Limit: The audio message attached to your Ringless Voicemail must not exceed 2 minutes and 59 seconds.
