All of these updates help you be more efficient and have an easier time with checking how your messages are being used and what their status is.
Unread Messages Count
In your Inbox list Salesmsg displays the count of individual unread messages per each Inbox. The counter accurately reflects all missed messages, and calls helping you stay on top of every message and never miss an update.
Inboxes
The new inbox view contains several new features, mainly within the new sidebar that easily shows all of your inboxes that can now be favorited, renamed, and muted.
In addition, the inboxes can now be grouped into folders that act as a grouped inbox, showing a combined unread conversation counter. This helps reduce the clutter and organize your inboxes, especially for larger accounts.
Conversations list
With the new Salesmsg 2.0, all the conversations management features like filtering, sorting, and mass actions have been retained. The looks have been revamped and modernized.
We also added a few useful bits of functionality like conversation color coding, call history view, and new conversation search, allowing you to find what you are looking for even faster.
Contact allows you to search all of your contacts to find the exact right person, area code, or group that you want to be messaging.
Tag allows you to search through your applied tags and find all the users listed under a certain tag, such as those you need to follow up with or invite to an event.
Inbox filters the users to the certain inboxes that they were assigned to.
Assignee checks who created the inbox and sorts based on who created what inbox.
Created Date sorts the contacts by when they were created, such as today, yesterday, or 90 days ago.
Message Box and Conversation View
With the new Salesmsg Conversations page, creating new conversations is easier than ever.
The new interface allows you to send a new message to any contacts, whether already existing or new numbers, along with placing a call. This can be done from any existing inbox and corresponding number or any new inboxes that have been created.
The new message box has been modernized and expanded on with Salesmsg 2.0, retaining all the tried-and-true features of saved replies, AI, emoji, notes, file upload, and scheduled messages. New features such as Recently Sent Media now allow you to more easily add files and media, and record audio and video to send to your contacts.
We have also kept features like URL shortener, Merge Fields, and Message Signature, all to keep your texting workflow smooth and uninterrupted.
Transcript Recordings
When viewing call recordings, users might notice a "transcribe" icon, indicating that clicking it will generate a transcript, which incurs a charge, 1 credit per minute of the recording. However, if a transcript has already been created or is still in progress, users will see a different iconโa down-facing arrow. Hovering over this icon will display a tooltip,
โSee transcript,โ clarifying that no additional charge will apply for viewing. This feature helps users easily distinguish between generating a new transcript and accessing an existing one.
Contact details
With Salesmsg 2.0, the contact details sidebar has been revamped, showcasing a larger and more customizable view.
The contact details sidebar now allows you to customize the contact directly in the conversation page. The contact details are now collapsible and split into sections such as conversation details, contact details, integration details, tags, and notes.
Conversation Details show the inbox the contact is located in and the assignee.
Contact Details show the phone number, first and last name, email, and owner of the contact.
Integration section shows if contact is connected to any external integration as well as some additional info like Integrations' contact details, connected deals and other objects.
Tags can be applied to any contacts to group them with other contacts, such as account managers or discontinued contacts. Tags can be added and removed directly from sidebar.
Notes are anything you want to add to a contact that you want to remember or have available.
Focus mode
Focus mode is a new feature in Salesmsg 2.0 that allows you to take out all the distractions and just focus on the contact, conversation or inbox that you need to work on.
This works by hiding all other inboxes and details about the contacts and just seeing the current window you are working on with no distractions.
For any contacts that you no longer need to see directly in your inbox, you can close the conversation, mark a message as unread, make the message a priority, hide your activity, or export your conversation.
Calling
The new calling interface for Salesmsg 2.0 has been completely revamped and redesigned with a new call modal that is cleaner and easier to use.
The new modal for the calling feature now gives you an influx of features to allow for easier and more effective management of your calls with options such as mute microphone, record call, show keypad, put on hold, transfer calls, adding people to the call, and ending the call.
Mute Microphone will mute your microphone so that the contact will not hear you until unmuted.
Record Call allows you or any member in the inbox to download a copy of the phone call. The call will be recorded preliminarily but this behaviour can be disabled at any point.
Show Keypad opens up the keypad and allows you to press a key if you encounter an IVR or a phone tree.
Put on Hold (Pause) will put your contact on hold and mute your microphone. You can press the same button again to resume the call.
Transfer Call forwards your current call to any of your inboxes or an external number of your choice.
Add People to Call converts your current call into a conference call and adds participants. As with the transfer function, you can add any inbox to the call or an external number of your choice.
End Call (on top of the call box) as the name states, this will end the active call.
Call Queue
Call Queue is another new addition to Salesmsg 2.0 functionality. It allows you and your colleagues in the same inbox to quickly manage a sudden influx of calls.
Call History
Call history is yet another new feature added exclusively to Salesmsg 2.0. It shows you a quick breakdown of every call made from your inbox.
